as tools go... probably my ott-light and my clip on magnifyer....yes yes as the eyes dim they need more help!

Well went to California for the weekend. Been a busy two weeks here. Packing and moving to a new location so here is your question.
When you go to a new state or province do you check to see where the cross stitch store is first??

I did and I went to Needle and Niceities in Upland Cal it was a lot of fun.

As I was packing my cross stitch for my move I realize I have a lot of cross stitch lol. Anyways this brought this question to my mind.
How do you store your threads *Dmc mostly*?
I store mine in the nuts and bolt holders that you find in hardware. Stores them nicely

Do you like to buy "chartpacks" that include charms, buttons, and/or beads or do you prefer to gather all materials yourself?

It depends on the chart. If I really like the chart I will but usually swap out the fabric and the floss
