Here is the progress I am making so far. Didn't get to the Queen Stitches. I'll try and get them done for my next progress pic.
It does stitch up really quick, and I can't wait to see what it looks like with all the lovely beads.

Hi! I bought this chart at patternsonline.com because it was a little known Teresa Wentzler that really caught my eye. It appears that hardly anyone has stitched it. I have only about 10 hours in and it really is lovely and unique.
If you stitch this you will probably need more than one skein of ecru. Also, make sure and follow Teresa's instructions for order of stitching. Don't stitch the 553 bars of the fan until after you have done the diamond eyelet lace.

Y'know, I'm thinking I may add some gold (002 Kreinik) BF to the gold edging on the teapot, cup and saucer rim.... So it will sort of match the gilt edges I see frequently on tea sets....

It's a thought!

Hello everybody!

Justyna couldn't moderate this forum anymore so a new moderator was needed. Since I check this forum every day and I love TW tea scene I thought it would be nice to moderate it.

I plan to make three sticky topics: one with finished Tea scenes, one with usefull links and comments on this design and one with WIP pictures. But if you have different ideas I'd like you to share them. Ask me anything you like.

'Allo!

Anyone working on Tea Scene right now? I just picked up the LA leaflet at a going out of business sale (sob! only Wal-Mart and Michaels left now locally!) mainly just to add to stash, but as I look at it it's starting to call my name. This is really a beautiful design, and I love the sorta-shadowbox way it's been framed in the model....

Here it is - the first 10 hours on Tea Scene! I fiddled with the image to show the Ray of Light linen color (32-count), so the colors are brighter than in reality, but you all get the drift... I love this piece and I'm so glad I decided to choose it as my next TW start.

I hope to get back to TS in 6 to 8 months. (Yes, you read that...

So I have decided that the Garden Princess might not work (too much blue)..but I am think of using Snowflake (SMF)...but I need apiece first to figure if that will work....
darn a reason to order some!

Anyway..since I still have a couple weeks to decide...any suggestions?
