Camelot was pretty much my first cross stitch project and I went into it completely innocent of any preconceptions that TW's were "hard". Probably just as well or I may never have started it!! It is still one of my favourites.

I want to stitch the Camelot Sampler in 2 months. My problem is, my hubby want to make this as a chrismas present for friends in the USA. So I have the problem with the time, but I make variations on the picture. Where are the men and the woman, there I want to make letters and the text under the sword is coming away. Maybe I stitch the sword complet to the box or I make something other there. I must look. Here is now the first picture after 3 days.

On the main wall of the castle, under the battlements there is a lot of darker colours, often including purples. There's an upside down T that's quite thick, then one quarter stitch that points to the left (IE symbol is rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise). the latter symbol isn't on the key (well, I've looked a ton of times and not seen it...).
