I just purchased the chart for "Needle Guardian" and I have a couple of questions.
1) For the metallic diamonds on his chest and tummy, is that done in backstitch or long stitches?
2) In the knotwork areas, every time the "ropes" change, there are two opposing quarter stitches. Wouldn't it be smoother to use a half stitch
that is "between" the two full crosses?

Thank you
A question came up about borders for your Rocking Horses, and I recalled something from an old JCS. After pawing through my collection it was an art print
promotion in Dec 1993. I'm wondering if you did the art prints yourself? Now I'm betting since it was a promotion that it would now be impossible to
get any copies, but is there any way to see the borders more clearly should someone feel inspired to try to translate them into stitching? The little tiny

There is nothing similar on the chart. Is this just a misprint/oversight, or was this a change between model stitching and charting?
