I know it is a bit early to start planning this, but I figure the sooner we start talking about it the better things will go.

The restaurant we went to last year was a bit of a miss, partly due to the Madonna concert the the hockey game. My suggestion for this year is to go to a restaurant a little further away. It would require a subway ride, but they have a huge menu and are the kind of place you can sit and talk all you want. Reservations would probably be best, as they can be...

Hello! I've signed up to a needlework retreat in Oct 09 at Mystic CT with www.stitchershideaway.com (spooky retreat2). Sue kindly put on a 2nd as there were too many for the original - Spooky retreat 1. We need another 8 people to sign up or the retreat will be cancelled. My leave is booked at work, the money for flights etc is in the bank and I'm having a new bathroom fitted that same week and my builder has ordered me...

Is anyone interested in having a regular, set meeting time for a stitch/knit gathering? Monday nights, Daniel is out of the house, so it's a convenient time for me to host. I'd be happy to have people over for supper, if desired, and to stitch or knit and share some company.
