My name is Jane & I have only just realised this group was here. I live in Bristol, UK. I live with my partner Colin & sometimes my 19yr old daughter ( she spends most of her time with her boyfriend) & a ginger tabby cat.. I also have a 23yr old son who is at university in Birmingham. My partner has a six year old who comes to us at w/es & holidays.

Greetings from West Virginia, the xs desert of America ( I think). No LNS around here at all! I have been stitching for over 35 years now and have done several of TW designs. I am currently looking for a patten that is OOP (darn), I have always wanted it, but didn't know the name. It is Peacock Tapestry and was wondering if anyone knew where I could find it. I have tried ebay without success, so if anyone can help me I would be entirely grateful!

hello,
i'm silvia from the netherlands. i m stitching now on emma's garden and next in line is enchanted mermaid from mirabilia but i will make peacock tapestry also.
i will stitch enchanted mermaid and peacock tapestry. one day mermaid and other day peacock tapestry. i hope it will work with peacock tapestry i find it a very difficult one.
but i'm not in a hurry. i have two sons one is 2 and the other is 3 years old. we have also a lot of animals. two dogs, 2...

I frequently hang out over at the Mirabilia board, but I admit I am a TW fan too. (I won't admit how many WIP I have though!)

But looking through the board I think is inspiring me to pick them back up (esp the Peacock Tapestry).

I live in Florida now, and have been stitching as long as I can remember!

One of my goals this year was to actually post at boards-so here it is a big hello from a long time lurker!

Hello Gals,

I am new to this group and wanted to introduce myself. I started cross-stitching at the age of 12 and had to stop cause it was taking up a lot of my study time. Mom put a ban on my cross-stitching saying that I had my whole life to do it, but studies can't wait :-). So I agreed and kept away from it for almost 15 yrs and now I recently took it up again (after finishing my studies Major in Physics, Computer Science, 12yrs of IT programming and still going strong

Actually I'm in Maryland, between DC and Baltimore. I was previously a member of the board but have been away for a while due to other obligations. I have been stitching for about 16 years. I like many different types of designs and designers. I have only stitched a few of the smaller TW designs but I have been collecting TW designs for years. I just started working on Castles by the Sea. I look forward to visiting the board and seeing everyone's progress.

Hi everyone!! My name is Lori and I live in Trinity, NC. I have been cross-stitching for 28 years. I'm married with three step-kids, two step-granddaughters, and I have my own two "kids"--my Hairless Chinese Crested and a mutt. I just recently found this board and love it. I havent posted here in nearly 2 years, maybe more. I had put away all of my TW's and tried some other designers for a while. Some good, some not so good. But once again, I find myself back here.

A friend pointed me to the blog posting about Illuminata and my interest was peaked once again. LOL I had just read a book about an Illuminator. It was perfect timing!

new to the board. recently retired and a 'snowbird' with my husband. do beading. cross stitching with beads and counted cross stitch. recently bought TW 'day and 'night' pattern and will start working on them. when we are traveling i do cross stitching. limited space so i only keep a few patterns at a time. when weather is good, we are out on the Harleys seeing the sites. i especially like autumn/halloween themes.

I just found this site as a Mirabilia site I check out has moved to Yuku.

Maybe this will give me some inspiration to finish some very long neglected Wentzler WIP.

I started Peacock Tapestry more years ago than I care to admit, and I also have Tradwinds maybe halfway done!

Just need more stitching hours in the day!

I have been cross stitching since I was a little girl. It is the only craft Mom showed me how to do that stuck!

My name is Eva, I'm 31 years old and live in Sweden. I'm German originally and moved to Sweden about five years ago. I've taken up stitching again and having a blast - couldn't imagine my days without it right now. I haven't done a TW design yet, but I love fantasy designs and I'm sure I'll try one one day when I have done a few more small projects.

Wow, what a shock!!! I've been away for a very long time (probably going on 2 yrs.) to find everything moved & I couldn't remember my old ID. So now I have a new one & hope to visit more often. Still working on my "Millenium" although it is slightly buried in a very small UFO pile, but on a good note it is next to come out after I finish 1 more big project. Now to go look around.
