I'm a month behind (finished stitching these last month, but hadn't uploaded the pictures), but here a couple of finishes.
From one of Margaret Sherry Calenders (2003 iirc) in CrossStitcher magazine. I didn't stitch the background because that makes is bigger and... well I didn't want to stitch it :
And a quickie - scissor fob (but I'll make it into an ornament) from Acorns Rule Accoutrements (by Milady's Needle). For some reason the embedded information isn't showing up - it's stitched on 32ct Lambswool linen; started 10/14/08 finished 10/19/08. I know the picture date says 10/18 but it was after midnight and the camera time was about 6 hours behind

I have completed two this month but I can't say as they are for the exchange. I am making it a goal this year to do an ornament a month again as they are
quick easy and I have too much thread and fabric laying around.

November Ornies | #7 | ||

Lovely ornies everyone! I've done four Christmas ornies this month. These first two are from an old Erica Wilson crewel kit, made for my mom.
Then I did this one from the JCS 2003 ornie issue, by Dames of the Needle, and called Dasy Away. It was really quick to stitch. And one last ornie for November, also from the 2003 JCS ornament issue. This one is from Lynn's Prints, and is called Christmas Day Play. It's fairly simple, so to spice it up a bit, I used some 25ct gingham linen and stitched it over 1, then finished it with some white linen on the back, plenty of fiberfill, and reversible cross stitch around the edge. I'm really happy with how it turned out!
