If you work just the border for very long, it gets to where you can see a rhythm develop. I have been working my Guardian in quarters, and would do the border
before anything else, to get it out of the way. It isn't that bad if you go between border and main picture. I can't imagine just doing all border,
with no break....

I like breaking things up when I stitch just because I tend to get into color tedium. So mixing border with the rest of the picture helped break up the I'm
so sick of gold. Granted I got most of the scene stitched before I started the border so I hit the point of stitch 2 hours on border for every hour on the
scene within this piece, but I was still able to enjoy stitching better. Though being a bs at the end person I did do all the border bs in one go, and wow, I
did not realize you could use 11 yards of DMC just to bs this border before I started. Otherwise I may have planned it differently. Still even that wasn't
so bad in the end as I could see just how close I was to the end that the impending HD kept me motivated.
I will say even stitching the way I did it, I could get into the rhythm in the border. (OK it wasn't really 2 hours and then one hour, but more like 6 hours and then 3 hours and I didn't time exactly either) Oh and I think I forgot to say this earlier Sophia. Your Dragon looks Divine. You are doing a fabulous job!

Looking good, Sophia! Great idea to switch back & forth between the border and picture.

Well that border is really going forward there and I think there's a lot more sky and water I see. I'd say that's great progress.

Great progress. I see tons of water stitched since the 77hr post, and I see you've done more of the outer edge border as well. Oh and the sky is finished
as well. Great Job!

You got more border done, it is really looking good. That border is a real bear, takes tons of time away from the picture, but is so beautiful when stitched.
