I now have a laptop, and I need to know how to copy my favorites from the desktop Firefox to the laptop Firefox. I have a flashdrive, but don't know what I
need to copy in Firefox so that I can paste it into the flashdrive.

If you go to the Bookmark Manager (Boorkmarks-->Organize Bookmarks), then go to the File menu, there is an Export option. The bookmarks are stored in a file
called bookmark.htm, but you need to navigate somewhere down in Documents and Settings, so this is probably the faster way to do it.
