Terry, what a lovely idea! Now I'm trying to come up with a new way to display all my exchange ornaments!

Susan, I've been thinking of putting some of them onto a wreath. Then there's a spot in my entry way that I could hang that from. Or if you've got
a large bowl, crystal would be perfect because then you could see through it, you could stash a bunch in there. And possibly next year I may hang garland from
my entertainment center as it's a good 8 feet long by 7 feet high and I could hang quite a few from there as well. And this year, I'm hanging a few of
them from handles from my china cabinet as well as my entertainment center. Yes, you'll be able to think of plenty of ideas of how to display them.

Mine are all hanging around a shelf in the living room. I have them out all year, but this year I might put them away - although the place will look a bit
naked without them.
I think I've got a better photo now - discovered my problem was a great big fingerprint on the lens. Really helpful. So I've cleaned that off and taken more photos. Pity I didn't figure that out sooner. Amanda |

I received my TW ornie from Paula, it is a Celtic Inspirations ornament and I haven't been able to get batteries in the camera for a pic yet but I'll
try to get one up soon. Thank you, Paula!

OK - here is the better photo (Terry also stitched the gold perforated paper one sticking out the side in a previous year):
And the shelf - next year I'm going to need more nails or another shelf or something, they are getting a bit crowded, and if you look closely you'll see where I had to press one of the bears feet into service as a hook: Amanda |

Finally I've managed to get pictures and remembered to post them here of the 4 ornaments I've received.
First from Sara/Rx lady A father winter ornament. Thanks for the lovely thread too Sara. A father winter ornament from Penny A two sided ornament from Anu which I think are Margaret Sherry designs And finally a lovely tree one from Susan I love all of them. I'm going to need to figure out where to hang them as I've run out of room on my Christmas tree with all the previous years of TWCOE. It was lots of fun putting up my tree and looking at all the lovely ornaments that I've received in the past and also great fun getting all of this years..

I received my last ornament from Anu, but my ftp/webhosting programs are having "issues" this afternoon, so there's no pictures. I will post a
picture on my blog, and try and sort out the picture later.
Cheers, Karin |

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post -- things just seem to have gotten away from me lately. I got a lovely beaded ornament from someone in Canada
with the last name of King -- Karen I guess. There was no full name or e-mail so I can't send a thank you, but it's lovely! I keep forgetting to take a
picture (hence I kept putting off posting) but it's hanging on the tree with ornaments from many years and I'll try for a picture soon.
This year we got an artificial tree and it's not as wide as previous years; combine that with 5 exchange ornaments and several I made for myself and my needlework ornament collection is growing. So I just got a small tree 50% off and my needlework (or at least the bulk of it) will go on that tree next year. So that makes 3 trees -- one for needlework, one for Star Wars, and the main tree! I've got bigger ornaments on all of my doorknobs this year and I'm running out of knobs! (Sure, the doors have two sides but I'm not hanging things inside a pantry or closet! Thanks, and I'll try to update with a picture soon. Robbin |
