I've gone and put myself on the wagon for this year so there's no purchases for me either... unless you count some DMC!

I've bought 2 new scroll frames since Christmas (I prefer them to hoops etc), so I can have more WIPs!! I have 4 on the go (one's a UFO that I haven't unattached as the frame is too small for anythign else), and one waiting for medieval tiles. The scroll frames aren't exciting, but having multiple piece on the go is - I think I've become a rotation stitcher

So far my faves are 2 sets of q-snaps (6 & 8 inch) and Just Nan's Queen of the Needle and Crystal Roses.... sorry -- I couldn't only pick one...

I usually go crazy at stitching shows and haven't been to any so far this year. I did make a major investment in a book about antique New England samplers when I went to a seminar in Williamsburg in December. I hated to look at the original price on the little book, which would have been much more affordable if I'd gotten to Old Sturbridge Village in 1978.
