Teresa's original Advertising Guidelines are still quite suitable for the community with just a bit of clarification on "where" and "when" needed.

Designers are welcome to continue to post in GCS, but we're more interested in celebrating your accomplishment rather than the availability of a new piece. Also, for those of a more prolific nature, please consolidate links into a single post for a month period. Additionally, label clearly whether we're going to see a *stitching* HD or a new charted piece. (I really can't stress that enough....to the point that I will suggest the moderators re-label if necessary).

Lastly, I see no problem with signature links. It is up to the MEMBER to click on that link! Again, clearly labelling where that link points is the key, and if it is unclear it is going to a retail site, you may be asked to revise it....
