Well I started this last night. Haven't done much as it took me all day to put on some guidelines! I decided to do a guideline every 10 stitches as I was
uncertain about using linen and wanted to be safe! This way I know exactly where to start and stuff and is hopefully easier to count! Couldn't believe how
long that took me! And winding new thread onto cardboard! I forgot how time consuming that is! From now on they are staying in the bag until I need them
Had to go and buy another 25 threads today! It really doesn't
matter how many threads you already have in your box, they are never the right ones 
Will keep you updated on my progress. This looks like a basic cross-stitch so shouldn't take me too long I hope! Was surprised to see this
featured in a magazine! I found this sold as a pattern in my local craft shop. Was glad I found it though!

: Been a lifesaver! The problem I have found is this can be
deceptive how long things take. I think the blue part on the right for the big wing took me 2 hours to do 2 colours! I think I basically sitched a colour a day
of the border. Looking forward to hearing/seeing your progress!
