Between packing everything up/moving them around (got new carpets!), having Ripple not doing well (she looks/acts much better now than a week ago), and a very,
very lousy month at work meant I didn't even look at FP. My emotions have finally settled down enough to stitch, but I want to finish Heavenly Cats for our state fair (I have a month to finish it)
so FP is still on hold :

Between getting lured away from cross-stitch by my applique quilt in progress, and then deciding to do the new Trick or Treat Fairy Mirabilia designed for my
neighbor (before Halloween, no less!) FP is getting ignored quite completely
 It's sad, I know. I'm hoping once the snows hit I'll be needing a
dose of summer flowers again, but having gorgeous flower gardens tended by neighbors on both sides of my house and hummers coming to my feeders every day - I
guess I don't feel the need to be stitching those things, too. Sowwy!

I should be getting back to mine pretty soon. I am finally finished with my obligation piece and I'm trying to get caught up on a RR piece and then I
should be able to get to work on FP. Things are only going to get busier for me though. My Sis is getting married in October and I'm the Maid of Honor and
Florist. So I'm trying to organize showers, flowers, and everything else.

I'm sure there's probably a floss list somewhere, but could someone please direct me to it? I sat down one day with the FP pattern and tried to write
one, but it began to seem hopeless, there are so many duplications in the different "parts". I have more than a complete set of DMC, but have a lot
of them out in kitted patterns, and would like to start buying a few of these at a time as JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby have them on sale. TIA!!

There is a complete listing in the Flower Power chart Annie. It's on the back of one of the pages (the butterfly chart page, maybe?) But check the backs of
your patterns and you'll find it. I remember it being in the center of the page in a box by itself. If I'm really remembering correctly, it doesn't
include the critter colors? But I might be wrong on that count.

The floss list is on the back of the hummingbird charts. I think it includes the critters' colors, but I didn't use the floss list so I'm not sure
(I pull the floss as I start a new flower/critter/bird).

It forced me to actually get the FP bag out of it's semi-exile, which is good. I might get back to stitching this when I'm finished with Heavenly

I have a couple of other things I need to do first -- I'm a OOATer. I'm just about finished with Rainbow Bridge, then will do "In Loving
Memory" (Designs by Lisa), in memory of my DH. I put aside Miss Hathaway's Garden to do these, so may get back to that one. As slow as I am, and
considering how infrequently I actually stitch, it may be a year before I'm ready to start this! JoAnn's has floss 4/$1 this weekend, so I may start
buying some of the 149 flosses! The ad says a limit of 35 skeins -- they don't usually stick to that, but I don't think they'd let me buy 149!!
They also have a coupon for additional 10% off total purchase. I'm sure I have some fabric I can use, although it won't be hand dyed. I'm looking
forward to starting on this in this lifetime, but I'm afraid it won't be anytime soon!

LOL - Yeah, we'll definitely still be here annie. Despite my best efforts, I am too easily distracted to concentrate on FP for more than a couple of months at a time. I'm hoping to get some more work on it once I take down the hummingbird feeder in a couple of weeks...but we'll see. For now, I'm going camping for the weekend, so no cross-stitch is coming with me. I'll be taking a quilt to work at and a book. Along with the shopping DSis and Mom want to do, that should keep me busy enough for the weekend ;)

Time for an update?
My most recent photo. Since this was taken I now have half the blue delphiniums finished, and half the 'Majestic' but there's some frogging going on in Majestic, I miscounted and his wings are lining up to his body.
