Pretty hummy! Looks great, Erin. But.... what over-one chart for the birds????? I only have over-one charts for the insects.
And thanks all on my petal |

Oh, I guess I shouldn't assume everyone knows everything I know, huh? LOL There's an email group on yahoo called Flower Power, where one of the members
recharted all the hummers into over-one. She posted them to the files of that yahoo group. Her name is Susan G. Capps. She did all but one of them, I can't
remember which one wasn't done right now. But I figure I'll do all the others first, then when I'm ready to do that last one, I'll have the
groove down
And thanks for the compliment Erin in MI |

Erin, your hummer is beautiful!
I got some work done on mine last night and plan to continue all week. I hope to get quite a bit finished. |

Thanks Rebekah
I've been working on mine all day today and got quite a bit done. I'm doing the 2 top daylilies at the same time - we'll see how well that works out...heh. I'll see if DH will take another pic once all the daylilies are done. Erin in MI |

Wow misako, you are doing yours on 35 ct?!?!? I'm impressed. I had originally started mine on 32 ct and loved the way it was looking, except when I got to
the over-one parts. Even deciding not to do the hummers over-one on that original piece, I knew I wouldn't be able to do the insects either. So, rather
than dreading the insects, I decided to start the whole thing over on 28 ct. Yeah, it's going to be huge, but I'm loving every minute of it now
And your Heavenly Cats is going to be a gorgeous piece Erin in MI |

Yes, I will post a pic probably on Monday. My stitching week goes from Tuesday to Sunday, leaving Monday open for the Monday TW SAL. I am at least going to
have the flower that I started done and I hope to do the daylily under it and maybe even start the hummer.
I'm working on 28 ct too. I cannot even imagine what over-1 stiching would be like on 35 ct! |

I just didn't want to deal with the huge fabric
I haven't really done any over 1 stitching on FP yet (hummingbird eye doesn't really count)
so we'll see how much whining I do when I start on the butterfly
Heavenly Cats will be framed. If I finish it in time, I'll probably enter it in our state fair this fall - not that a pillow couldn't be entered |

Thanks Ladies
Maybe I should knock on wood now that I've said that
I've decided to fill in some of the daylily leaves I missed below the flowers, which means I'll probably start in on the daisies, too. That's ok, I'll get to the little bee quicker So Rebekah, any pics yet?

After I stitch on it today and tonight, I'll get a photo up. Your daylillies look fantastic!
Ripplemiss, I know what you mean about the excess fabric! I had to use quilt clips to keep the extra fabric pinned up and out of my way. Using a higher count fabbie does make sense. I'm worried about how much the framing is going to cost for this project but that is a long way away. |

It looks great Rebekah
I started working on the Painted Lady butterfly below the daylilies yesterday. I'm really pleased with how fast this one is going, compared to the hummer. I'm sure it's because the butterfly is smaller - but it's making me stop dreading the over-one bits. I couldn't believe that hummer took me 3 days to stitch! So, this is a good thing Erin in MI |
